Grandma Lue We Love You!!!

Our dear sweet Grandma Lue passes away on Saturday. We will miss her very much but we know she is a much better place. Some of my favorite memories of Grandma Lue are:

* Every birthday since I can remember we would go shopping and then to lunch. I could pick anything out that I wanted to but I had to try on things that Grandma wanted me to. We did not always have the same taste but we always had so much fun shopping. When I was younger we would always go to ZCMI to pick out my present and then to the Tiffin Room for lunch. Since the Ogden Mall closed (which if anyone knew Grandma Lue she thought is was the worst thing every) we would go to either Applebee's or Rainbow Garden's. I don't think we have ever missed a birthday. I will miss going to lunch with Grandma Lue this year on my birthday.

* Grandma Lue never missed any activity I was in. She loved coming to our piano recitals. She made us think it was one of her highlights. I think she really loved them. She also came to every dance recital.

*One time she was tending us and Bryce was outside playing basketball. Grandma Lue ran outside with a bottle of Vavoom and told Bryce that he forgot to put his VVVVVavoom in his hair. Being a bratty little sister I thought it was the funniest thing ever!

*Going to water aerobics with Grandma.

* Going to Farr's Ice Cream. Grandma had a major sweet tooth. You should see her candy drawer.

* Driving in her purple car.

*Playing on the floor with Chloe.

*Stuffed celery

I will miss Grandma Lue (Mama Lue, is what she wanted our friends to call her) very much but I have so many great memories.

Chloe love's Ben!!!

Grandma gave Chloe and Ben an ice cream cone the other day. This was Chloe's first ice cream cone. She loved it. But she loves Ben even more. They are best friends. She talks about Ben all day and wants him to come over and play. Ben is 2 years older then Chloe but they play so well together. We think it is because Ben and Chloe are exact opposites. Ben we love you!!!!

Big helper

Chloe loves to help me. It does not matter what I am doing she always wants to help. I think her favorite thing to do is help me do the dishes. She has to take her shirt off becasue she is drenched by the time we are done.

Mischievious

Today I was making lunch when I hear this laugh. You all know the laugh, it is the one that is I am full of it and getting into something that I shouldn't, but it is so fun. I walk into the family room and Chloe had moved everything on this shelf and decided to climb in it. If you can't figure out where she is, she is in the middle section of our entertainment center. I crack up when I saw her and I had to take a picture but then I had to let Chloe know that we don't do that. This surprised me that Chloe would do something like this. I would not put it past Molly who climbs on everything. What a character Chloe is!!!

Grandma Walker

This weekend Grandma Walker and Aunt Pam came over for a barbecue. We had tons of fun. Chloe loved playing with them. Grandma Walker brought her a baby and she has not put it down or stopped talking about Grandma Walker.

I LOVE my balloon!!!!!!!!

Who knew the joy this red balloon could bring to my little girl. We went to the grocery store the other day and they gave her a balloon. It made her the happiest girl in the world. She played with it the rest of the day. She kept letting it go and then I would have to reach it for her. By about the 50th time I was so sick of it. I was talking to Christopher and he said, ' why don't you just tie a longer string on it?' Well I had not though of that! What a great idea it was. She loved the balloon and she still asks where it went.

Chloe loves her sunglasses. She wears them all day long. I don't know how she keeps them on upside down but that is usually how they are. She always keeps me laughing.

Baby animal days

Chloe loved the baby 'calvies'. She would get right next to them and give them loves.

Today we went to Jenson Historical Farms to baby animal day. Chloe had so much fun. It was tons of fun for Christopher and me to see her get so excited. Her face would light up when she would see a new animal. On the way home she told me, 'animals fun'. She was not quite sure about the toads and turtles. I was glad that she did not want to touch a toad because well that is gross. Christopher was mad at me because I would not let him bring a goat home for Chloe. He thought that I could just hold it the whole way home. Ya right!!! But it was for Chloe was his argument.
