Tessa

I have been feeling guilty because I have been posting so many things about Chloe and not as many about Tessa.  I decided to do a little update on Tessa.  What a spunky 2 year old she is!!!!

I have been trying to potty train her.  She totally gets it she is just lazy.  She will tell me she has to go when she wants to and refuses to go when she is too busy or just does not want to go.  I have decided to wait and push it a little more when we get home from Disneyland.  We leave on Saturday for a week and I don't want to have to worry about potty training in California.

 She was so proud of herself when she filled up her sticker chart.

Tessa loves to play dress up.  She is always clopping around in princess shoes.  She walks better in heels then I do!

Tessa loves, loves, loves Chloe. 

 Tessa loves anything outside. She askes me all day, every day if she can go play outside. 

 Tessa loves her grandma.  She tells me she wants me to take her to Grandma's and leave. 

 I think one of Tessa's favorite things right now are horses.  She loves anything to do with them.  If Christopher is riding in the round pen you will most likely see Tessa standing on the fence watching him.

She really loves it when she gets to ride.  We just bought a new horse last week.  This cute little buckskin is a perfect kid horse. We are so happy to have him.  We have not had a horse that me or the kids can ride for about 7 months so we are excited to be able to ride again.  We named him Woody.  Tessa loves him.  She gets on with Christopher and wants to go faster!!  Mom does not like faster.  It scares me to death.  She has no fear of anything (except strangers).  This is a picture of them spinning on the horse.

This adorable little girl is my newest niece.  What a doll!!! This is Hilary and Colton's baby.  I got to see her for the first time today. My kids have been sick ever since she was born. I have been dying to see her so today Hilary came to Plain City and I drove right over there. She is so adorable with TONS of dark, thick, long hair.  Her hair in the back goes to her shoulders. 

Leprechauns

The other day I was spraying weeds in the back yard when Chloe comes running to me very worried.  Our conversation goes as follows:

Chloe: MOM, I think you just sprayed a leprechaun!!!!!
Me: Hum.... A leprechaun.  Come show me where.
Chloe: She raced to the 'leprachaun' and said, "I think you just killed it." Crying is happening now!
Me: Silly girl, that is some clover. It's a weed not a leprechaun.

Tee Ball

 Chloe had her first tee ball game last week.  It was hilarious!!!  She loved it and played great.  I think her favorite parts are that she gets a treats each time and Abby is on her team.  After about 15 minutes Chloe asked me when it was over.  She was tired and wanted the treat.  It was her turn to bring the treat so she was excited. 

 Chloe was so excited because she hit the ball and she hit it far.

Happy Easter

 We had a great Easter weekend.  To start out our weekend we went to the Warren Park for breakfast and an Easter egg hunt.  It was FREEZING!!!  We had a lot of fun and the kids made bank at the Easter egg hunt. 

Our next stop was to my parents for lunch and anther Easter egg hunt.

Easter Morning

Since we have church at 9, the girls we able to find their baskets and then the Easter Bunny came to hide their eggs while they were at church. They both got sunglasses in their baskets and many more little treats.

 Tessa and Chloe after church in their new Easter dresses.  Do you see what they are standing on?? Ya, that's right GRASS.  Our grass in coming in really good.  It has a lot of weeds in it but we can walk and play on grass instead of dirt.  Love it!!!

 After lunch and naps we headed over to Christopher's parents of dinner and yet another Easter egg hunt.

Having kids makes everything so much fun.  It is so fun to see their faces as they have fun.  I love that even the smallest of things makes them happy.  Chloe got a mitt, ball and bat for Easter.  She has been practicing for T-ball and had her first game tonight (pics to come later). Tessa got sand toys for Easter.  Christopher is working on putting in a sand box.  

A little update

 Chloe- 4 years old (almost 5 if you ask her).  What is sweet little girl she is.  I feel so lucky to have her.  She is so thoughtful, kind, and loving.  She is such an awesome big sister to Tessa.  She loves to get Tessa dressed and she even changes her diaper.  Chloe loves to learn and is a little sponge.  She has the best memory.  She loves to play Memory.  When Christopher and I play against her we can not win.  We really try but she is just too dang good. 

 Cinch had four puppies and my girls fell in LOVE with them.  We knew we were in big trouble when Chloe named all of them.  We sold them within in last couple weeks.  Chloe cried and cried each time a puppy left.  I told her to just ask her dad for a kitty.  If he does not get her one then one day I will come home with one.  Hey we have mice, one more cat can help. 

 Last month Chloe had her dance review.  She loved it!!! The best part according to Chloe was that she got to be in the same dance and Abby.  We were lucky that Molly was able to come to the dance review, which made it even more fun for Chloe. 

 What a funny little girl you are Chloe.  I love you so much and am so grateful for you.  You make me smile!!!!

 Tessa- 2 years old.  What can I say about Tessa???  I wish I could just freeze her for a few years.  She is such a firecracker.  She makes me laugh all day long.  The other night she was in bed and called me in.  She pointed to her elbow and asked me what is that.  I told her it was called her elbow.  She just looked at me and said, 'Hmmmm, I thought it was my camel'. 

 Tessa is the BEST eater.  She was try just about anything and usually likes it.  She loves her babies (real and pretend), being outside, and her sister.  She follows Chloe all around and repeats EVERYTHING she says. 

 About a month ago I was at one of my friends house and they had a little inside dog.  Tessa bent over to give it a hug and the dang dog bit her.  It was quite the bite.  Right on her face!!! I took her to the doc and they just cleaned it really good and put her on an antibiotic.  Her face healed great but she is petrified of all dogs. 

 Tessa loves Grace.  They play so cute together.  I love to watch them learn to interact and play with each other.

 Tessa love to play dress-up. Her favorite are the princess shoes.  She can walk way better in heels then I can.  She wears then all day- everyday.  She usually is riding her stick horse at the same time. 

Tessa you are such a sweet little girl!!! I love you so much and am so glad you are mine.  You have such a beautiful smile and you are so special!!!!

 Once again Christopher is hurt.  This is no surprise to me.  He is so accident prone.  I don't know what to do with him.  This time he got bucked off a horse.  He thinks his leg hit the horn on the saddle on his way down.  This is what his leg looked like the day after.  The bruising got much worse days later.  About 10 days after he got hurt his leg started hurting worse and was really warm.  He went to the doc and they told him that he has a blood clot. Lovely, more physical therapy.

 At the end of March I went with my mom and Erin to Kentucky to visit Ali.  We had such a great time visiting with her and her darling little boys.  The flight there was not so great and neither was the flight home but the time we were actually on the ground we had a blast. They are moving home in a couple of weeks and I could not be more excited.
