One great weekend!!!

This last weekend we packed up the kids and headed to Bear Lake. We had such a great time. We went with Hilary, Christopher's sister, and her husband Colton. The weather was perfect on Saturday and we spent the day playing in the snow. Chloe had tons of fun sledding and riding the snowmobile. She also loved being the only kid (except Tessa) and getting totally spoiled by Hilary and Colton. I LOVED going somewhere! I am getting tired of this cold weather. We really don't EVER go anywhere. I am so afraid of Tessa getting sick that we have practically hibernated this winter. It was a nice 'out' for me and hopefully it will warm up we can go somewhere.

Man's BEST friend

This is our dog Roanie. She is not just any dog, she is the best dog EVER!!! We knew she was going to have puppies and on Friday she started acting like she was going to have them. We waited and waited with much anticipation. Nothing happened on Friday. So Saturday comes around and nothing happens. So when we wake up Sunday morning and still nothing was happening, Christopher started freaking out!! He was so worried about her. Finally by Sunday afternoon we knew there were some problems. We got a hold of a vet and she told us to take her to the Animal ER. Who has ever heard of an ER for animals???? So Christopher and his dad take her in. Christopher calls me an hour later and tells me the Roanie (our DOG) needs an emergency C-SECTION!!!! Who has ever heard of a dog having a c-section. Well now you have. Roanie made it out okay but there was only 1 pup out of 7 alive. So we now have a thousand dollar puppy. We are just glad that Roanie is doing okay (but she still has a fever). Christopher has to check her temperature every few hours and she has 3 different prescriptions that she has to take. Christopher is so busy taking care of our 2 dogs he just does not know what to do. He even has to wake up in the middle of the night to check on them and give Roanie her meds. I hope that he can make it to work tomorrow.

I got this flower for Tessa but I did not realize how big it really was. I know it is way big but look how cute Tessa looks. Christopher thinks it is so funny. I kind of like it.

Potty Party

On Friday night we had a potty party for Chloe. We have been potty training her the last 2 weeks and she is doing great. She was so ready to be potty trained, I just was not ready to attempt it. She was so easy. We have only had one real accident so far. I am so proud of her. We told her that we would have a party and she would be able to watch any movie she wanted (which she picked the new Madagascar) eat pizza and popcorn. Grandma and grandpas were able to come to the party which of course made it even better in Chloe's eyes.

Chloe will probably kill me in a few years for this picture but how could I resist. She is trying to be such a big girl. She wants to wash her hands with NO help. When Christopher and I saw this we could not stop laughing at her. The whole time we were laughing she kept asking us what is so funny. She has no idea how funny she is or that she makes us laugh all of the time.

Grace

I am so lucky to have another sweet baby niece. Grace Moyes was born to Bryce and Erin on February 1st. Grace has so much hair. She is DARLING!!! I thought Tessa was tiny until we put Grace and Tessa next to each other. Tessa looked huge. It is funny what 2 months does to a baby.
Tessa had her 2 month check up this past week. She weights 11 lbs. 6 oz. That is more than 4 pounds in 2 months. The doc said she is healthy and doing great. It is always a relief to me when I find out that everything is okay. Tessa is so smiley and loves to talk and goo at us. She is such a sweet and happy baby.

I just had to post about how funny Chloe is. She makes me laugh so hard. She is such a character. I decided to look back on my pictures of Chloe and post some of my favorites. She is such a sweet girl with TONS on energy. She is just like her dad. She is extremely friendly. She will make a friend with anyone she meets. I don't think she has a shy bone in her whole body. If you ever talk to Chloe she will be your friend for life and she will NEVER forget your name. As you can tell from the pictures Chloe is full of personality and has a great imagination. Chloe I am so glad that I am your mom and I love you lots!!!!!

Tessa' Blessing Day

On Sunday we were able to bless Tessa. It was such a special day. Christopher did such a great job. I am so proud of him. I am so glad that dad's are the one's with the priesthood and get to give the blessings. I would be so nervous but he did a great job. Tessa look beautiful in the dress that her great-grandma Walker made for her. We are so lucky that Christopher's grandma will make the blessing dress. She does a great job. Tessa is growing so fast. I can not believe that she is already two months old. She is such a sweet baby. She only cries when she is either hungry or sleepy. She loves her big sister, Chloe. Chloe can almost always get her to stop crying. Chloe either sings or reads books to her. I feel very lucky to have such sweet little girls.
