We have been trying to beat the winter boredom. I am soooooo ready for spring and so are my kids. They beg me everyday if they can go outside. Well all we have is MUD, MUD, and more MUD. So here are a few things we have been doing the last month or so. We went to the Treehouse Museum with Chloe's preschool class. The Treehouse is always a fun place to go and just let the kids run and play.

This is one day that I did let them go outside. They had tons of fun jumping in the puddles until they realized how wet and cold they were.
Can you believe how dirty they are??? I surprised myself that I let them get that dirty but they had so much fun.
Another day we went to the Nature Center with Christopher's Aunt Jeane. She volunteers there every Sunday to feed the birds. The kids had a BLAST!!
Chloe had her Kindergarten check-up. Boy was the traumatizing!!!! She cried and cried the week before the appointment. The day of the appointment she cried ALL day. She did not want to go to Kindergarten ever, since she knew she had to go to the doctor before. I had to carry her and strap her in the car. Thankfully for her Aunt Erin, who Chloe simply adores, talked to her before the appointment and bribed her. Chloe did great until the nurse came in with the shots. I don't know why they don't hide them. She just plopped them down right in front of her. She totally lost after that. She only cried for 1 minute because that was Erin's deal. I just can not believe she is going to be going to Kindergarten. I will miss her like crazy but I am so excited for her. Chloe loves to learn and be around friends. I think she will love school and she is so excited to ride the bus.
Chloe got to dance and at a little boys basketball game. For some reason she did not want to dance but once she was bribed with a peanut butter chocolate egg she did great. She loves dancing and wearing her costume.
One night I was cleaning my grandma's house and I thought it would be fun to have go get pizza with grandma and the girls. They had tons of fun, I don't know who had more fun, Grandma or the girls.

Chloe's had discovered computer games. I never really let her play any games but she has figured them out. She loves them and it kills a few minutes of boredom and gives me a few minutes to myself when Tessa is taking a nap.
Our dog, Cinch had puppies on Sunday. She had 4 pups. My kids are in love with them. They know the puppies are too little to hold so they just go out in the garage and look at them like 20 times a day.
Tessa is just such a funny little girl. I love 2 year olds. I think I could always have a 2 year old. They just crack me up. I love watching her learn and explore her environment. She is such a tease and stinker. She makes me laugh several times every day. Last night I told her it was time for bed and in her cute, sweet little voice she covered her eyes with her hands and said, "Don't tell me that." I could not help but laugh. I am such a sucker for her. I have the hardest time getting mad at her because she is so dang cute. I just asked her what her favorite song is and she told me, "Stuck like glue." She always wants to listen to that song. What 2 year old knows a Sugarland song??? Her favorite color is pink (because that is Chloe's favorite song and she does anything Chloe likes).
I hope the weather gets warmer soon so we can go outside. I love spring and am so excited for it.
