I saw this quote and it made me really appreciate my children more and to slow down and take time to enjoy this stage in my life. But to be honest I am very grateful right now for a napping child and Sesame Street.

Tessa has been do difficult the lasts few weeks. She just stands at me feet and cries until I hold her. She used to play and was a very content kids but not lately. She wants to do everything Chloe does. She wants to climb in the car by herself, eat everything big (not cut up), and all the things Chloe gets to do because she is older. It is driving me crazy. I told Christopher this morning that her looks are deceiving because she looks so sweet and innocent but she is not. Well, I take that back because she still is my sweet girl but she has a very naughty side to her. Tessa, I love you to pieces, I just wish you would let me shower without you crying by my door and let me go to the bathroom by myself.

Does anyone know why my header picture is so big? I can't figure out how to make it smaller.

So we have found a new barbecue sauce. I know this may sound crazy, until you try it. Christopher and I love to cook on the grill. We grill all year long and can not wait for summer so we can cookout every night. Well, Christopher has a new love. Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce. My brother-in-law taught Christopher how to make ribs and with this sauce and Spade L seasoning. If I want a very happy husband he will see this on the table when he comes home from work and smells ribs in the oven just waiting for him to throw on the grill. Christopher cooking those delicious ribs (I am not a rib fan so he cooks me chicken)

Recipe for a happy husband and a really easy dinner: The morning you are going to eat thaw and put Spade L seasoning rub on ribs (you can find this rub in the grocery store by the meat), wrap in tinfoil and put in fridge. About 2- 2 1/2 hours before grilling cook in oven at 350 wrapped in tinfoil. Let cook and then grill baste with Sweet Baby Ray (take out of foil while grilling). EnJoY!!!

I don't have much to blog about but I am 'trying' to update my blog weekly so I guess I will write more about my girls. You may get tired of reading about my girls but they are my life.
Chloe is well Chloe. Have I mentioned the she is BOY CRAZY. She is only 3 years old and is already boy crazy. What am I going to do with her? She already knows that she is going to marry Dakota (her friend). One day she asked him if he would marry her and he looked at her like she was crazy and told her 'no'. She was so sad but know she keeps telling me that when he gets a little older he will change his mind. Chloe talks about marrying Dakota every single day. She knows that he will buy her a ring and that they will have horses just like we do when they have their own house. The other day preschool was at my house and she put lipstick on and kissed one of the boys. She was not one bit embarrassed and even told his mom when she came to pick him up. Chloe loves her sister and is so kind of thoughtful of Tessa I am amazed. She is learning how to write her letter and can write just about all of them. She loves to practice and do her 'homework'. She likes to play in the dirt and makes up song and sings them to her horses.

I took Tessa to her 15 month well check today. She weighs 19 lbs and 15 oz and she is 31 inches long. She is a healthy little girl. She is so happy except lately if she does not get her way she screams and screams. She has a big attitude!! She wakes up in the morning and walks to the pantry and cries for me to open the door because she knows that there are cookies in there. I obviously do not let her eat cookies for breakfast but she throws a huge fit for them. Tessa has started saying a lot of words. She can say: mama, dada, sissy, bama (grandma), bumpa (grandpa), nana, papa, hi, hello, bye-bye and a few others. She does not like sitting still in church and spends a lot of time in the hall. Thanks goodness I am in the nursery so she can just come with me. Tessa shakes when she is excited and LOVES animals. She wants to play outside ALL OF THE TIME. We don't have grass so she just plays in the dirt and loves it. Tessa loves to wear hats

So BiG!

I am so excited because Tessa's hair is long enough to fit in the pigtails. It is so cute. Well, her hair in the back does not quite fit but I think it looks cute anyways. I can not believe that she is big enough to have pigtails. I think they make her look so old.

Last night I heard a bunch of giggling and this is what I found. Chloe and Tessa sitting on Chloe's bed putting jewelry on. They both LOVE to wear jewelry and want to wear it all day and everywhere we go. Girls are so just so much fun!!

Swimming Fun

Last week some friends and I went swimming at the Clearfield Aquatic Center. We had tons of fun but it was freezing. Chloe loved it and could not get enough of the slide. Tessa loved to splash but after about an hour her lips turned blue I figured that it was time to get out. Chloe is quite a little cheesier lately.

Tessa did go swimming but I did not get a picture of her in the water. I wish I would have because she looked so cute in her swimming suit.

My life

I just had some random pictures of our life that I wanted to post about. I am just so happy and loving life. Life is starting to get back to normal around our place. Christopher started working at Cal Ranch until he finds something different. He is really liking it. I think he will like to so much he will not want to find a different job. He is still going to physical and massage therapy almost everyday. We are just taking baby steps but he is feel a lot better. Chloe and Tessa are doing great. They are as happy as ever. They love to play together and play all day long. It is so fun to see them play together. I am so glad that they have each other. Having a sister is the best. Every morning this is the scene at our house. All three of them eating Eggo waffles. I do try to make something healthy but the just love the Eggo's. Tessa gets so excited to eat breakfast. She does not want to sit in her chair she wants to sit in a big chair. Christopher is so nice because I am sure he is sick of eating Eggo's every morning.
We have the BEST dog ever!!! The girls just love her. If I need to get something done I just bring Roanie in and they are entertained.

We have had Spring Fever. We are surrounded by mud, mud, and more mud but we do have a large patio out back that the girls can play on. Chloe keeps asking me when I am going to buy her some grass. If it could only be that easy.

Like mother, like daughter. I made my apron and my mom made a matching apron for Chloe. Chloe is quite a little cook. She loves to help me cook and always makes sure we wear our aprons.

Man, I just love this little girl. Tessa is so much fun. I love having a one year old. She is so funny. Tessa watches Chloe and wants to be just like her. Being a mom is the greatest. I love watching my little girls learn and grow each day. I am so grateful that I get to stay home and raise my girls.
