More updates

I still have some catching up to do. A lot happened in the month of June, I guess that is why I did not have time to post. The other day Christopher was out swinging Tessa and before he knew it she was fast asleep. He thought her feet looked so cute. Tessa is such a sweet and happy baby.

Last week we went to Willard Bay. It had been a while since I was able to waterski since last summer I was pregnant with Tessa. It was so much fun. I am soooo out of shape. I could not believe how sore I was the next day. Chloe had tons of fun playing on the beach and riding on the boat. She threw a major fit when I got in the water to ski. I guess she was afraid or something. She has turned into quite a momma's girl. It drives me nuts!!! She did get on the tub with me and loved it.

Chloe has no fear of the water. She scares me to death. She was not allowed to ever take off her life jacket. She definately enjoys playing in the water and sand.

Swimming Lessons

Chloe just finished with swimming lessons today. I was so proud of her. I am so glad that she was able to take them. She made a HUGE improvement with water. The first lesson she loved it. The next day we went and she did not want to get in or even go. I was so frustrated with her because the day before she was so excited and had so much fun. I had to sit in the pool with my feet in the whole time on the second day. We went home and had a big talk and she just did not want to go under the water. The next day I told her teacher that she did not want to go under the water and Chloe loved it ever since. She learned so much and had tons of fun. By the last day she was swimming alone with the noodle, jumping in, going under and blowing bubbles. She is sad that they are over and can't wait to take them next year.

4th of July!!!!

The 4th of July is one of my favorite days of the year. I just love the traditions. It is even more fun to pass these traditions on to my kids. We go to the park and join in on all of the festivities. On the 3rd there is a dinner and a car show. We had fun eating and spending time with the family. I felt so bad for Christopher because he was not able to do much since he was digging our footing. He got them done on time and was able to watch the fireworks with us. On the 4th we always go to the parade, this year I was in it with Tessa and Chloe rode her bike for the first time. My dad walked with her and she made it much further than I thought. She had tons of fun and her bike it still decorated and at this rate will still be decorated next year. Tessa is just happy

It is crazy how fast they grow. Tessa looks like a giant compared to these little guys. We are so happy they are here safe and healthy. Can't wait to watch them grow and change.

June Update

For the most exciting part of our month WEST STARTED BUILDING OUR HOUSE!!!!! We are so excited. These pictures were taken the night Christopher started digging our whole. Christopher is planning on doing a lot of the work himself (and with a lot of help from family) so I am pretty much husbandless. We can't wait to have a house of our own.

Chloe is very excited but has no idea what to think. She keeps asking me if dad built our house yet, like it is an overnight thing.

Plain City has a baby show for the 4th of July every year. This a tradition that has been around forever. I was in the baby show when I was a baby. Tessa was the big winner for her age category. She was so happy and excited to be there. I think she just like that she could be in just a diaper. We got to ride on the float in the 4th of July parade (pictures to come).

Ali, Jeff, and Gavin were here for the month so we all went to Bear Lake. It was rainy most of the weekend but we still had tons of fun. Tessa loved just being there and Chloe had a lot of fun playing with her cousins. She had tons of fun playing with Gavin. We talk a lot about Gavin but since they live in Kentucky we don't see him much so when they come Chloe can't get enough. She talks about him like he is a movie star. Chloe turned 3 on June 15. I can't believe that my little baby is 3!!!! Where did the last 3 years go. Chloe is such a fun little girl. She LOVES life. She wanted to go swimming on her birthday but since it rained almost the whole month of June we went to the Tree House instead. We had tons of fun. Chloe is at a perfect age to love just about everything there. We could have spent the whole day there. She really like to dress up and open the curtain and dance. After the tree house we had a princess birthday party. Chloe found a princess cake in a book that I have and so I made her this cake. She was very spoiled from everyone and had a great day!!!

One request Chloe had for her party was hats. She wanted everyone to have a birthday hat. She talked about it for months before. She decorated a hat for all of her cousins.

Happy Anniversary to Christopher and me!!!! Our anniversary is on the same day and Chloe's birthday. We have made it 5 years. We are still waiting to celebrate but one day it will happen, maybe when the house is done. I love you honey and thanks for the best 5 years and many more to come!!!!!!

I know I have been a big slacker. Life has been a little crazy around the Walker house lately. Here is what has been happening. My girls are growing up!!! I can not believe how fast they change. Tessa is 7 months old and has been sitting up for a little over a month . I Just love this age. It is great when I can sit Tessa up and give her toys to play with and she will just sit there for a long time and just play. Chloe is such a great helper. She will sit and play with Tessa all day. If she cries Chloe will go over and find another toy or talk to Tessa. Tessa LOVES her big sister. Chloe can get Tessa to laugh easier than anyone else. I am so happy that they have each other. Sister are the best!!!!!
