Smarty Pants!!!

Last week during Sacrament Meeting Chloe was getting a little bored. I decided to try to teach her how to write her name. Well this is what it looked like after about 10 minutes. I just have to brag because I think that is pretty dang smart for a little girl that just turned 3 in June. I think I am in for some trouble since she is too smart for her own good!!! We love you Chloe and everything that comes with you.

9 months old

At the first of the month Tessa turned 9 months. She is a happy and healthy little girl. She weighted 16 lbs 6 oz and was 27 inches long. Tessa can say dada and mama.

Chloe's big week!

Last week Chloe started preschool and dancing. She was so excited to start both. I knew she would do great since she is so social and loves to try anything new. She got to pick out her leotard last week and she keeps putting it on and practicing. She twirls all around the house getting ready for dance.

She is getting so grown up. I can't believe how fast she is growing. She is such a good little girl. She loves to play with her sister and help me out. She misses her daddy when he is working on the house and will not leave him alone when he is home.

New mode of Transportation

Tessa has not quite figured out crawling but she can get anywhere she wants. Just watch and see.

She can follow me from room to room and get into just about everything. Tessa is such a joy! She is so sweet. A few weeks ago she finally took a bottle!!!! What a great day that was. Since she has been on formula she is gaining weight and sleeping MUCH better. Last night she slept from 8:30 until 6:00!!! That is amazing for her. Before she was waking up 2,3, or 4 times a night. I am hoping that she will start sleeping through the night consistently. She is a great eater and will eat just about anything I give her. She loves playing with her sister and gets excited when she sees Dad. She has to have her pink blanket to fall asleep and likes Mom the most.

House Update #2

The house is coming right along. We are so excited to see each step finished since it means we are that much closer to being done. This last month the sheet rock was hung and finished, Christopher and a crew finished the roof and we are now putting up the rock. I think we might be crazy but we are doing to rock ourselves. It is not hard to do but very time consuming. We go down every day after Christopher gets home from work and all day on Saturdays. We are getting much better and faster but we have quite the project. Our siding was finished last week so the outside it looking great. This rock was our first attempt. This much took us a few hours but we are much better know.

In August we went to Lagoon. This was Chloe's first time going that she really got it. She was so excited to ride on the rides but I was not sure if she would like them. She insisted on going on these whales but she had never seen them move. I made sure she wanted to ride on them and she really did so I put her on. The first pictures is before they started. She was all excited for the ride to start. And then the ride started........

Need I say more????

I was laughing so hard I could not even talk to her to tell her it was okay. Christopher wanted them to stop the ride and let her off but they would not. I was a bad mom because I thought it was funny to see the look on her face change from excited and happy to pure fear.
