Our Yard!!!

This fall we were able to put our yard in. The girls loved playing in the dirt and helping out.

Chloe and Tessa thought the dirt was so fun to run and play in. They were so disappointed when Christopher leveled the 'mountain'.

I need to take a picture of the final product. It is not done but we planted grass last weekend. There some green poking thought the dirt. We can't wait have grass to play on next spring. Thanks Christopher for working so hard and doing such a great job on our yard. We LOVE it!!!

One GREAT weekend

Last weekend me and the girls went to Bear Lake with my parents. Christopher was elk hunting so I decided I did not want to stay home alone so I headed to Bear Lake with my mom. What an awesome weekend. The weather was absolutely perfect. What a great fall we are having. Since Chloe and Tessa were the only grand kids at the cabin they were totally spoiled.

ToNsiLs OUT- TubEs iN AGAIN!!!

Tessa had her tonsils and adenoids out and tubes put in for the 2nd time. The poor little girl is always sick. She never complains about it and I usually don't even know she has an ear infection. The doc decided it was time to take her tonsils out and put tubes back in. I was totally freaking out about this surgery. Tessa is only 22 months old. She is way too young to have this done!!! I was way nervous about the surgery but it went great.

Tessa could not wait to get in the crib. She wanted to go for a ride. She keep telling me 'bye'. There were no tears from Tessa when they took her to surgery. It made it easier for us to let her leave but I still shed a few tears.

The surgery went very well but Tessa had a really, really, really hard time coming out the the anesthesia. She was like some wild, crazy child. She was screaming and crying for 1 1/2 hours. They had to give her something in her IV to calm her down. The medicine that calmed her down made her oxygen level go down so she needed some oxygen. She thought the mask was really fun to hold up to her nose. She like the air that was blowing out.

Tessa thought the remote to the TV was a phone. She held it up to her ear for hours. She loved eating all of the Popsicles she wanted.

We took Tessa on a wagon ride outside to see the pond.

Tessa did so great that we were able to come home later the same day. The doctor told us we would probably have to stay over night. I was not looking forward to it so I was so excited when they let us leave. Her recovery was super easy. She loved eating ice cream and Popsicles. Hopefully now Tessa will stay healthy and start sleeping better.

Beus' Pond

Chloe had her first field trip earlier this week. It was a Beus' Pond. We had such a fun time. We arrived at the school and Chloe was able to ride the SCHOOL BUS. She was sooooooo excited to ride the bus. Tessa and I drove to the pond and waited for Chloe to get off the bus. I asked her how the bus ride was she said it was fun but I had to hold Claire's hand because I was kind of scared. We walked around the pond and feed the ducks.

I loving Chloe's preschool class. She is meeting so many new friends. We don't have many little girls that live around us. She loves to go to school, learn and explore her world.

Rodeo, dance, and PiNkAliCiOUs Lemonade!!!

Chloe has been practicing and practicing for her stick horse race and she finally was able to show off all of her hard work. Last week Chloe had her first Youth Rodeo. It was so cute. Just image all of these cute little kids with their cowboy hats, boots and Wranglers on all carrying around a stick horse. Chloe was so excited for her first race but she was also really nervous. I do not know who was more excited Chloe or Christopher. He has been looking forward to this day since she was born. He was one proud dad!!!

Chloe's first day of dance. She was sooooooooo excited to go. She thinks her dance teacher, Shantel is the coolest person in the world. She could not wait to go back to dance and see her friends again.

Chloe is in love with the Pinkalicious books. She got the book Pinkalicious and the Pink Drink for her birthday. Ever since her birthday she has wanted to have a lemonade stand. She wanted to have the lemonade stand at our house. Since we have probably one tractor drive by our house every few house and maybe 2 cars, I did not think she would have much luck at our house. I finally was able to talk her into going to my parents house.

Chloe was a little shy about selling the lemonade until Ben came over to help. How could someone pass up these cute kids? Ben would jump up and down holding the sign while Chloe would dance. They were so excited when a car would stop. The kids had tons of fun selling lemonade. They made $12.50 in one hour. Not bad!!

Late summer evening

I love summer evenings. I love the warm air and spending time with my family. One night we went the Christopher's parents house so Christopher could rope with Jacalyn. The girls love to watch and play in the dirt.

Yes, this is my child. Covered from head to toe with dirt. If there is a way to get dirty, Tessa will find it. I think she put her face on the tractor.

Every time we go to the Walker's, Tessa finds this poor kitten and holds it all night.

Daddy's Girl

Tessa has turned into a huge daddy's girl. She follows him around all day long. If Christopher go outside she is waiting by the door to go with him. Tessa's new love is biscuits and gravy. Christopher has always loved biscuits and gravy. He makes them once in a while for breakfast and Tessa can not wait to eat with him. I can't believe how much Tessa is growing up. She is getting so big. I can't believe in a couple of months she will be 2!!! Where does time go? Tessa tries to say everything. She repeats everything Chloe says. I am so glad they have each other.

As you can see Christopher is wearing a cast on his arm. We started working on our yard a couple of weeks ago and He hit his hand with the hammer. At first we did not think much of it but later that day he had a bump the size of a golf ball on the top of his hand. I made him go to the doctor to get an x-ray. The doc could not tell if it was broken because of the swelling. They put a soft cast on him and told him to not use his hand until he hears back. Luckily his hand is not broken just deep tissue damage. It has now turned into a cyst. The doc shot some steroids into his hand and hopefully it will heal. This year has been a tough one for Christopher. I don't know how much more he can take. I feel so bad for him. He is still out of work. It is so frustrating trying to find a job. He has been staying busy working for his dad or in Bear Lake on a ranch but we don't know how long that will last. So just a shout out if anyone hears of any job opportunities, please let us know.
