HE GOT A JOB!!!!

Today is the day I have been waiting for, for a LONG time.  Christopher started a NEW JOB.  Ya, that's right, HE GOT A JOB!!!!  It may not be what he was thinking of but it is a job and I think he will LOVE it. He has always wanted a sales job that he did not have to drive all day or be stuck inside a store. Christopher started working at Ken Garff in Riverdale today.  He has been without a real job for a year now.  It had been a rough year without a job, but as of today that is in the past.  I was the dorky wife that took a picture of him driving away. I told him that I was going to come take his picture at work but I decided that might embarrass him just a little bit. 

Christopher has been able to pick up a few side jobs here and there throughout the past year.  One on the jobs he found was just recently working out at the Great Salt Lake.  His great job was to clean brine shrimp.  It totally sucked but he stuck it out for a while.  They worked 7 days a week, 12 hour days.  He did not get to come home each night and if we were lucky he could find a ride home. He would get home around 7 and then have to be back by 5 the next morning.  He learned a little Spanish since if he wanted to communicate with his co-workers he had to.  He actually was offered another job today with GSL working on the production line.  I am sure glad that he found another job so he does not have to do that dirty and SMELLY work. He stunk soooo bad when he came home.  I actually threw some of his clothes away today that he wore at the GSL.  The picture above is Christopher cleaning brine shrimp.  I am just so grateful that he has found work and hopefully we don't have to go throught that challenge again ever!!!
