Dinosaur Park

I am so happy that we finally have some nice weather. I think the winter seemed to drag on forever. Last week we took advantage of the weather by going to the dinosaur park. Chloe was so excited to go to the dinosaur park. She absolutely loves the show Dinosaur Train. She is so interested in everything about dinosaur. She amazes me at how much she knows about dinosaur. The other night I was putting her to bed and I turned the light out and she said, 'Too bad I don't have night shine so I can see better in the dark.

When we got to the park the kids were like animals just let out. They ran from dinosaur to dinosaur while yelling and laughing. We had so much fun.

I think this picture is so cute. Tessa and Grace are fascinated with each other. It is so cute to watch them. They get so excited to see each other. Tessa says Gracie's name all day and is always pointing to her picture. Tessa just giggles when she sees Grace. I am so happy that they have each other. It is so fun to have cousins the same age.

So today Chloe and I were outside eating a Popsicle and I was watching her eat her Popsicle and thinking about how cute she is. It was just so fun to see her and think about all of the cute and funny things she does. I was also watching Tessa play at nursery today and I just could not get over how cute she is. She loves to sing, 'If your happy and you know it'. I am sure all mom feel this way about their kids but I am just so lucky to have such fun kids. I am so grateful that I get to stay home with my kids because I don't want to miss anything. I am excited for our summer. We do not have a yard but the girls love to play in the dirt. I will be soooooooooo excited for grass because they get oh so dirty. I love to watch my kids grow and learn new things. I guess I am just grateful to me a mother of the two cutest girls ever!

Neesha said...: Ha! We have grass and my kids STILL play in the dirt (and get filthy). Why I can't keep them playing on the grass and out of the dirt is beyond me. Though it really will be nice to have a lawn :) Good Luck!; April 19, 2010 at 1:04 PM

Fuuny things Chloe says

The 2nd day we had been home from the hospital Chloe walked into the family room where I was feeding Tessa. She looked at me with the strangest look and said, "Mom she is eating you."

I had given Chloe some sixlets and she wanted them on one of her My Little Pony plates. I told her to be careful because they might roll off. She walked so, very, extremely carefully to her table. She dropped them once and very patiently picked them up and then she got like 5 inches from her table she tripped. Out of my sweet little 2 year olds mouth come, "O SH....." I should have been mad at her but I could not stop laughing. Once I sort of controlled my laughter I told her that we do not say that word. Then she proceded to tell me that daddy says that so it is okay. I told her that it was not okay and she just kept saying, 'it is true, daddy says it.' Christopher is watching what is says around her much more carefully.

Chloe was playing with her babies ans she came up to me with baby Shelly and said, "tell Shelly hi, Grandma."

We were at Target today and as we were walking around Chloe was singing 'I am a child of God' and her ABC's at the TOP of her lungs. As we were leaving I told her that she needed to put her coat on and she said, "thanks for thinking about me.' She is a very polite little girl!

Chloe is very concerned what we are taking with us when we move. Everyday she is asking me if we are taking all sorts of things like her jewelry, bed, clothes and toys. Today she was asking me questions and I told her that we are taking everything. Even everything on our walls. She looked at me with a puzzled look and said, 'how are we going to get the walls there.'

As we were leaving the surgical center after Chloe had her tonsils out she said," Mom that was fun." I asked her what part was fun and she said, 'All of it'.

We were getting ready to go to a baby shower. Chloe usually stays home with Christopher but I was letting her go with me. I asked her if she wanted to go to a baby shower with me and she said 'Ya, but do we get wet.'

Chloe asked me if she could tear the paper off of the easel and I told her to just wait a minute and I can help her. She did not listen and tried to do it herself. She actually did probably did just as good of job as I could tear the paper off. She looked at me and said, 'Mom aren't you impressed.'

Chloe and I were laying in her bed getting ready for bed and this is our conversation:
Chloe: "Mom we can't see good in the dark."
Me: "Well, I know but who can?"
Chloe: "Jesus and Troadons."
